Race One

Start 22nd – Finish 14th from 25 racers
Personal best: 1:21.307 | Fastest time: 1:19.130

After a frustrating qualifying, but joyfull racing with the pack during training – thanks for those pit parties! - I tried to stay calm and to avoid crashes in front of me. 7 cars left the race and all were faster than me. Without their incidents I would have reached 21th.

Positive was, that I only had 3 incidents point. A good battle with Victoria – who later in the evening was someone else -, who overtook me due to a idiotic mistake from me. I jumped over kerbs, but safed the car.

By the way: After my experience with a alien, who drove with the baseline setup 2 seconds faster than I (yesterday in Heusinkveld MX5 World Tour), I decided to race with the baseline setup. I do not think a setup will make me faster. Only seat time, training and races will do that.
Hopefully I will get a new steering wheel and pedals. That should help, because my braking with those DFGT pedals seems to be different from lap tp lap. I need more consistency in breaking.

Race Two

Start 7th – Finish 10th from 24 racers
Personal best: 1:21.229 | Fastest time: 1:19.606

The result was okay. A Top Ten. Even if it based on mistakes and incidents from some much faster guys. Last corner I made a mistake so Steve Hansford caught me just before the finish line. That was a good battle too. He was faster, I drove defensive, but he raced very clean and fair.

Race Three

Start 12th – Finish 16th from 24 racers
Personal best: 1:20.328 | Fastest time: 1:19.162

I lost my car in a corner and lost 4 places due to that own mistake. After that it was a lonely race until finish.

Next week will be difficult for me, because I never drove in Brazil before. Hopefully I will find a „How to race there“ video on youtube. :-)

Thanks for racing, guys. From my point of view our series produces more and more good races. It would have been great, if there were a livestream.
