Race One

Start 12th – Finish 13th from 18 racers
Personal best: 2:06.733 | Fastest time: 2:04.350

The qualifying was okay and my feeling for the track also. After one hour race from yesterday and some more traininglaps I was kind of optimistic to achieve a good result. I started good and followed the leading pack. It was intense and in 8th place I made a simple mistake, went to early on throttle, spun off, but managed to limit car damage. After leading by all cars I started to gain as much places as possible and finally ended in 13th.

I was not disappointed, because the feeling to be able to follow some fast guys was a good one.

Race Two

Start 5th – Finish 9th from 17 racers
Personal best: 2:06.469 | Fastest time: 2:04.901

A Top Ten. Could have been better, but had a racing incident with Mick Barrie, who did his first ever Top Ten – Congratulation! -. My car had little damage, but was drivable and so I ended in Top Ten after weeks with bad results.

Race Three

Start 9th – Finish 11th from 17 racers
Personal best: 2:08.788 | Fastest time: 2:04.815

This was my BEST race experience in iracing! Even if I lost three places at the last corner, due to a horrible, stupid mistake with a spin off. I could have been another Top Ten, but ….... These are such mistakes, which will make me stronger in the long run.

I want to thank following guys for a great race:
Colin Robinson, Max Wright, Adam – why is he called Victoria Champion in result sheets??? -, Anwar Smith and Mick Barrie. It was fair, clean, respectfull and an example for gentlemen racing. I loved it, even with my last corner mistake.

I think our driving skills and racing standards in BSR are developing very good.

Thanks to the host too!

All in all this weekend was a very good one for me. It does not show in my results, but I feel „speed“ and think I made a next step towards my first podium in BSR MX5 Cup and my first Top Twenty in Heusinkveld MX-5 World Tour.
